PB Update

Follow up on THIS POST from February:

Pb was admitted to the trials for the study drug! Major happy dance was happening when we found that out.

So, now that he is on the "program" he has to take a little pink pill twice a day, roughly 12 hours apart. We, and by that I mean me (lol) have been very diligent on this.

I set a reminder to go off on my phone every night to make sure he takes his pill. Every morning before I leave for work I make sure he takes his pill. Cause that's how I roll.

Every 2 weeks he has gone in for blood draw and urine analysis. The doctors who are administering the study drug want to be sure each patients body is responding well to the oral chemo. As well as to check to make sure no other health problems are popping up along the way.

Last week PB went in for the regular tests. They just called this morning. There is an issue. Great. (a little heavy on the sarcasm here.) The doctors tell him no meds until he comes in on Wednesday. As a precaution.

I refuse to think of this as a setback. I can only think positively until I know there is something to freak out about.

So, send all your good vibrations this way will ya? Cause PB needs it.
