Christmas 2009

I wanted to share a few photos from the holidays. Yes, I am just getting around to it! When you read about my tree here not all of the adornments where on it, so here it is in all it's splendor!

I love to watch my children open their gifts. You never know what that one item will be that they scream and holler about and jump up and down for! Here are some of my favorite pics of the chitlins........

I think it is great how, at least in the comfort of our home, Lil C is wearing the Christmas hat I got him, but trying to remain cool at the same time! Doodle loved her toe socks. So cute!

It was so nice to have my mom visit us. This was the first time she had been to my new place, and it had been 2 years since her last trip up here. The kids and I drove down in august, but it was nice to have her here with us! Here are a few good pics:

It was most certainly a "different" Christmas for me, but I managed to survive. December 2009 will go down in my memory as the first Christmas not celebrated as a family. I hate that the experience of our family traditions has been taken away from my kids. I know they struggled with it but they came out ok.
